Manasota Key Gulf Renovation

A Gulf of Mexico Residence Reconfigured for Multi-Generational Living

Located on Manasota Key along the Gulf of Mexico, this project reimagines an existing waterfront residence to better support large family gatherings while preserving the privacy of its original pod-based layout. The home was originally organized as separate structures connected by covered and elevated walkways. The renovation focused on strengthening the relationship between these independent volumes while establishing a clear central gathering space. A new third-level primary suite was added above the main living pod, and the floors below were expanded to accommodate multi-generational use. Architectural updates were carried throughout the residence, aligning the exterior and interior language with the demands of Gulf-front living. Elevated walkways, shaded connections, and durable coastal materials reinforce resilience while maintaining the character of the original concept. The result is a thoughtfully reconfigured Gulf-front home on Manasota Key—one that balances connection and privacy while seamlessly integrating old and new.
