This Key residence was designed for a couple who wanted an authentic northern Italian home. The graceful in-line dormers and the entry proportions are genuine to the style. Split roof pitches along with clay topped chimneys are reminiscent of the northern Italian coastline. The selection of the materials for roof tiles, interior and exterior stone was to bring back the “old world” hand made style of building from the past. A step into the past with today’s technology and old world proportions are a success on this home.
